Florence Heath is the daughter of Ara Bertram and Amy Dehorne Wheeler Heath. Florence married Harold Harmond James on Janurary 2, 1924 in Newell, Buena Vista County, IA. They had three daughters, Hazel A James, Neva Ethel James and Marian James.

DEATH NOTICE AND OBITUARY FOR FLORENCE HEATH JAMES
Funeral services were held

Saturday, March 19, 1960 at the
Baak Funeral Home in Newell
for Mrs Florence James,
who died Tuesday, March 15.
Services were conducted by
the Rev Richard Lammers of
St Peter's Lutheran church.
Pall Bearers were Obit
Barnes, Viggo Jensen, Eugene
Petersen, Ralph Petersen,
Ernest Piercy and Leon
Rodda. Those in charge of
flowers were Mrs Alvena Hoberman,
Mrs Dan Jeppeson
and Mrs Carl R Johnson.
Burial was at the Newell
cemetery.

Obituary

Florence Heath James, the
child of A B Heath and Amy
Wheeler Heath, was born on
February 21, 1894, on a farm
southwest of Newell in Buena
Vista county, Iowa. As an
infant she was received into
the Kingdom of God through
the Sacrament of Holy Baptism
in the Presbyterian
church, Sulphur Springs, la.
On January 2, 1924, she
was united in holy wedlock
to Herald James at the home
of her parents. This union
was blessed with three children,
Hazel, Neva and Marian.
Preceding her in death
were her parents, a sister,
Mildred and her husband,
Herald James.
Several months ago she
suddenly took very sick and
had been seriously ill ever
since. Last Tuesday, March
15, it pleased the Lord to call
her from this earth to His
eternal home in heaven.
She is survived by three
daughters Mrs Ralph Rutt of
Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs Robert
Meinking of Newell, and Mrs
Robert Elshof of Denver,
Colo.; three sisters, „ Mrs
Claus Lage of Chandler, Ariz
Mrs Axel Johansen of Newell,
Iowa, and Mrs Clyde
Drury of Clinton, Iowa; by
nine grandchildren; and by
many relatives and friends.
She attained the age of 66
years and 23 days.
