Funeral services for Billy L. Boswell, 66, of Missouri City, will be held Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. at the Garmany & Carden Chapel in Missouri City. The Rev. Louis Sada will officiate the services.

Bowell was born Nov. 4, 1928 in Whitewright, Texas. He died Dec. 18 at Fort Bend Hospital. After 41 years of service, he retired from Swift-Eckrich. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Missouri City.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Jo Boswell of Missouri City; daughters, Elayne and Doyle Cox of Cypress, Texas, Linda and Dennis Lamberth of Houston, Lea Ann and Dennis Katallo of Carol Stream, Ill.; grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley, and Erin Lamberth and Nicole Katallo.

Burial will be at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
