Brian JohnGroves 1/7/71 ~ 2/21/03 Brian John Groves, 32, of Salt Lake City passed away Friday, February 21, 2003 at his home. He was born Jan 7, 1971 in Provo, UT to Hubert Jay and Jeanie Sekaquaptewa Groves. Brian attended school in Orem; Zuni, NM; and graduated from Pleasant Grove High School, 1989. After high school he attended BYU. Brian worked for ADP Services in Salt Lake since 1994 as a human resource specialist. He enjoyed music and cooking. Brian had a great love for people and always helped others before helping himself. He is survived his mother, Jeanie, Pleasant Grove; sisters, Tina Groves, Salt Lake, Rachael Groves, Pleasant Grove; brothers, Jay Groves, Pleasant Grove, Alan (Amanda) Groves, Provo; grandfather, Harold Groves, Myton; close friend, Jennifer Evans, Salt Lake; many friends and family. His father, Jay, preceded him in death. Graveside services will be Tues. Feb 25, 2003, 1 p.m. Myton Cemetery, Myton, UT. Directors, Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove.
