Augustus was a man of extraordinary accomplishments who dusted off faith and put it into practice.
His desire was a life changed,a church revived,a nation reformed,a world evangelized.
He loved both brother and neighbor and it was shown by the works he did and kind attention he gave all who approached him.
He was a Theologian,Educator,Author,
Philanthropist and founder of Francke's Foundation at Halle,Germany,a school,orphanage,and seminary.
The school grew in importance and was later known as the Franckssche Stiftungen.
He was the Pastor of St.Georgen Church
in Halle's Glaucha 1692-1715.
Pastor of St.Ulrich Church 1715-1727.
He was educated at the Gotha Gymnasium,Erfurt,Kiel Leipzig Universities.

Augustus's parents were Johann Francke a Lubeck Lawyer and Anna Gloxin daughter of David Gloxin a Lawyer,Mayor and Diplomat of Lubeck,Germany and wife Anna Schabbel.
Augustus's Grandparents were Hans Francke,Elesable Wessel.
Great Grandparents Hermann Francke,Catherine Leimback of Thuringia,Germany.

Augustus and Anna's children were Johan Marten(John Martin)who arrived in London June 1709 and in 1710 came to Craven County,North Carolina,America and married Civilla Miller.
Gotthilf Augustus married Johanna Henrike Rachals.
Johanna Sophia Anastasis married Johann Anastasius Freylinghausen.
