Troy Sampley, 93, of Weatherford died Monday evening, Sept 2, 1991, in the local hospital.
Born Dec 13, 1897, in Eureka Springs, Ark., he was raised in Bryson and had been a Weatherford resident for 25 years. He was owner of Troy Clothing in Houston.
He is survived by his wife, Fara May Sampley of Weatherford; two sons, Troy Sampley of Dallas and Donald Sampley of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was held 4 pm Tuesday, Sept 3, in Azleland Cemetery with JW Sellers officiating. Galbreaith-Pickard Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
