Cleo Yoakum Cowan, age 93, passed away Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Middlesboro Nursing Facility. She was a member of the Covenant Methodist Church and sang in the choir for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother and worked until her retirement. Cleo loved doing crafts and working in her flowers.
She is preceded in death by parents, R.D. and Anna Mae Kilgore; brothers, Ted and Bud Kilgore; sister, Clara Skinner; husband and father of her children, George Yoakum Sr.; son, Donald Jack Yoakum; second husband, Hoy Cowan; son-in-law, Johnny Blondell; and also many other special family members.
