WILLIAM LEWIS BALLENGEE
William L. Ballengee, 71, died at his home at Strange Creek Jan. 5, after a short illness. He was the son of James and Margaret Given Ballengee. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Exline Ballengee, one brother, Lanta in South Charleston and three sisters, Mrs. J. B. McLaughlin of Big Chimney, Mrs. John Long of Elkview and Mrs. Frank Holt of Gassaway.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Jan. 7, at 1:30 p . m. at the residence with Rev. Mr. Clark of Boomer in charge. Burial followed in the Strange Creek cemetery with the Bartlett Funeral home in charge of arrangements.
