Mrs. Edith F. Lumbard, wife of Archibald Lumbard, died Sunday at her home in the Town of Dryden, near Etna. She was 52 years old. Besides her husband she leaves a son, Laverne Lumbard of Etna; a daughter, Mrs. Laverne (Ruth) Cotanch of Groton; her mother, Mrs. Selorie Tichenor of Waverly; two sisters, Mrs. L.W. Hemingway of Elmira and Mrs. T.H. Herlihy of Waverly; three brothers, Ernest of Buffalo, Edward and Leland of Waverly; and a grandson.

Mrs. Lumbard had lived in the Town of Dryden all her life. She was an active worker in the Etna Baptist Church and was well known. Her husband is critically ill at the Ithaca City Hospital.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Baptist Church in Etna. Rev. E.G. Knapp will officiate. Interment will be in Willow Glen Cemetery.
