William E. "Billy" Cornett, age 72, husband of Eunice (McCollum) Cornett, of Norwood Drive, East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014 at his residence. He was the father of Anita Carpenter and husband Earl of McKee, Kentucky, and William "Tim" Cornett and wife Diane of Tyner, Kentucky. The brother of Coy Cornett and wife Peggy of Annville, Kentucky, Peggy Sparks and husband Ronnie of London, and Sue Lewis Berea, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Angela Cornett; by his parents, Willie Reuben "Bill" Cornett and Bessie (Nantz) Cornett McQueen; by his twin brothers, Larry and Gary Cornett; by one sister, Gerry Cornett; by his step-father, Hubert McQueen. Funeral services for William E. "Billy" Cornett will be conducted Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Roger Bowling and Jerry Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky
