He was born on February 25, 1985 in Columbus and was a 2003 graduate of Whetstone High School. With a career in sales, he most recently worked with the Charles Ritter Company.
Possessing a charm second to none and with a personality to match he caught the eye of all ages. Meeting first in grade school, in 2009 he would marry Samantha Mockler, which he considered his richest blessing. To their union was the addition children, a home, and a taste of life's joys, all blessed by God.
He was a member of Genoa Baptist Church. A fan of the Cleveland Browns, he enjoyed a passion for cars, especially GTO's. He was a gifted woodworker, crafting his children's bedroom furniture and any other presented task.
With a deep and abiding faith, he was thoughtful towards others, putting the needs of others before his own. Described as "Silly Daddy" by his children, he was fiercely loyal. Never a stranger known, he remembered everyone he ever met.
His favorite place was Granny's kitchen table or in the company of good friends and food. He found pleasure in making others happy and treasured God and his family above all else.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife Samantha, children Paisley, Parkus, and Isabelle, father David Hunt of Kamiah, Idaho, brother Michael (Jennifer) Hunt of Gahanna, sister Christina (Jason) Rowland of Galloway, grandparents Betty Mayhew, Mary Cogley, parents-in-law Stephen and Jane Mockler of Powell, brother-in-law Nicholas Mockler, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother Linda (Mayhew) Hunt in 2011, grandfathers Park Mayhew and Michael Hunt.
