Tyler Cox Mitchell, a retired conductor with CSX Railroad, died Thursday, June 17, 1999 at Margie Ann Nursing Home in Lebanon.
He was born September 28, 1919 in Vale to the late Joseph Alexander and Myrtle Ila (Henderson) Mitchell. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past Master of Bruceton Masonic Lodge #731, Bruceton Order of Eastern Star Adah Chapter #314, and a member of the United Trainmen Union.
Survivors include a daughter, a son, a sister, twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Bruceton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Burial was in Prospect Cemetery.
