Luther Elmer (Buster) Hinkle

Mr. Luther E. (Buster) Hinkle, Star Route,Fredericktown, died on September 28 at Farmington Community Hospital at the age of 62.
He was employed by Mississippi River Fuel Corp. for more than 23 years. He was born on August 28, 1911.
His parents were the late William Wiley Hinkle and Ida Clementine (Sanders) Hinkle. His wife, the former Esther L. Barrett, survives. They were married on July 3, 1936 in Fredericktown.
Surviving children includes a son, Kenneth M. Hinkle, Harvest, Alabama; brothers, Orla, Charlie, George, Paul, and sisters, Minnie Lucy, Sylvia, Phalba and Marie.
Granddaughters, Teresa and Renee also survive.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hinkle was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence and a sister, Nellie.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fredericktown and for many years belonged to the Mt Pisgah Baptist Church.
Burial was in the Christian Cemetery with the Rev. Don Cochran and the Rev. Billy Nail officiating. Services were held from the First Baptist Church.
Pallbearers were J.W.Polete, Forrest Swain, Gail Marsh, Gerald Halford, A.W. Lawing, W.L. Mabrey, all friends and co-workers at Mississippi River Fuel Corp.
The Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
