Mrs. Maxine Miller Vanlandingham, 72, of Fayetteville died May 12 at a Fayetteville hospital. Born Aug. 22, 1908 at Hindsville, the daughter of Dr. James W. and Magnolia Miller Walker, she was the widow of Blake Vanlandingham. She was a former employee of the University of Arkansas extension department, a long time resident of this area and a member of the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

Survivors include two brothers, Dr. David L. Walker of Little Rock and James A. Walker of Fayetteville; one sister, Mrs. Helen W. Ewing of McGeehee and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Friday, May 16, in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville under direction of Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetics Association, 5422 W. Markham, Little Rock, 72201.
