This record stated that George Gresham died in Lawrence County, TN, leaving no will and the court appointed John H. Gresham (youngest son of George Grisham) as the administrator with John Gillispie and E. M. Chaffin as his securities. He was to collect all debts and pay all bills due the estate and remainder, if any, to them be turned over to the proper persons.
On June 19, 1823 George had purchased 100 acres in Lawrence County, TN.
On August 19, 1847, George had purchased 170 acres in Lawrence County, TN.
On May 10, 1849, George had purchased 184 acres of land in Lawrence County, TN.
