Found in The State 3 April 1981: Joseph George Abdalla, 75, of 113 Leyden Lane, died Thursday at Baptist Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Pine Bluff, Ark. he was a son of the late John and Labeebee Abdalla. He was a merchant and a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He was also a member of the Knight of Columbus and the Syrian-Lebanon-American Society of South Carolina. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cleo Khoury Abdalla; a son, John Abdalla of Germantown, Tenn.; two daughters, Mrs. George (Theresa) Younginer of Columbia and Miss Dolores Abdalla of Atlanta; a brother, Eli J. Abdalla of Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Marie Bashara of Columbia; and four grandchildren.
