Ronnie was born in China Spring, Texas, to the late Lawrence Alex and Melba Frances GermanSpence. He grew up in the China Spring area and attended China Spring Schools. Ronnie was a mechanic by trade. He served on the China Spring Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for around 30 years.
Ronnie is survived by his loving wife, Mina, who cared for him through out his illness; sons, Ronnie Jr. and Randy, of China Spring; brothers, Eric and wife, Candy, and Eddie and wife, Susan; sister, Ida Sheppard and husband, Bobby; extended family, Aaron and Sue Miller, Wayne and Nimmie Bryant, Jim, Jerry, Johnny and wife, Mary, Ronald and wife, Sheila, Carol Johnson and Doug and Etta Mae Bowen; specials friends, Johnny and Debbie Binder, numerous nieces and nephews; and many, many friends.
