Jennifer Elaine "Jenni Bug" Dotson, 31, of Ashland, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born December 18, 1982, in Ashland, to James E. Dotson and the late Cheryl Louise Dotson.

Ms. Dotson was a 2001 Graduate of Paul Blazer High School and was active for four years with the schools ROTC program. She enjoyed friends and family and was an avid Baseball Card Collector as well as enjoyed working puzzles and making and designing things with beads. At home she was "Mommy Jenni" to her many stuffed animals including her favorite one "Phred".

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, the Rev. Charles S. and Helen Bath, her paternal grandmother, Hazel Dotson.

Jenni Bug leaves behind a loving family including her father, James E. Dotson, one brother, Jeffery Dotson, three sisters, Jessica and Andy McKinney and Juliana Dotson all of Ashland, three nephews, James Dillon, Timothy Andrews and Joshua Michael McKinney, as well as many friends and church family all of whom loved her and will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at Carman Funeral Home, Burial will be at a later date at the Rude Cemetery in Flatwoods.
