Eileen Violet Lopeman, 78, of Port Townsend died June 23, 2000, in Port Townsend.
She was born March 22, 1922, in Gold Bar to William Franklin and Astrid (Johansen) Bishop. She graduated from Port Townsend High School in 1940.
She married Ottie "Jiggs" Lopeman on Jan. 1, 1942, in Port Townsend. He preceded her in death in 1996.
Mrs. Lopeman enjoyed camping. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary and Community Methodist Church in Port Hadlock.
Survivors include four daughters, Janice Wills of Mount Vernon, Marilyn Peterson of Sequim, and Laura Snyder and Carolyn Allen, both of Port Hadlock; two brothers, Howey Bishop of Ferndale and Leonard Bishop of Bellingham; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is planned for 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kosec Funeral Home in Port Townsend. A funeral service is planned for 1 p.m. Thursday at Community United Methodist Church. Interment will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Chimacum.
