Bobbie Sharp, 73, of Andrews died Monday, Dec. 12, at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 14, at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. The Rev. Bill Melton of Calvary Baptist Church, Andrews, officiated. Burial was in Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.



Sharp was born April 12, 1932, in Hobbs, N.M. She married J.P. Sharp on Aug. 7, 1972, in Andrews. She worked as a draftsman when she was younger and was a homemaker for many years.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She enjoyed dressing as a clown for events at the Sky High Children’s Ranch, and she was an active member of the Eagles Lodge and the Moose Lodge.
Survivors include her husband, J.P. Sharp of Andrews; a son, Billy Bob Kennedy of La Porte; three daughters, Joyce Hammond of Andrews, Jan Nelson of Midland and Naomi Orman of Midland; three stepdaughters, Claudia Duncan of Dallas, Teresa Froelich of Andrews and Yalanda Joyce Sims of Lake Ellsinore, Calif.; 22 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren.
