Phyllis Kay Nolin Stoner, 65, of 410 E. Main St. died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2005, at King's Daughters' Hospital.
She was born Aug. 6, 1940, the daughter of DeWitt and Lena Willis Nolin. She was a licensed public accountant and owned and operated a private accounting firm. She was a member of the National Society of Public Accountants and the Indiana Society of Public Accountants. She taught accounting and taxation at Ivy Tech State College of Madison. She served as treasurer of the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce for three years.
Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Kay Schafer of Madison; two sons, Mark Allen Stoner of Nashville, Tenn., and Timothy DeWitt Stoner of Zionsville; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton, with burial in the Moffett Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice & Palliative Care of Southern Indiana. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
