John H. Black of Frankfort, Indiana died Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock. He had been suffering from leakage of the heart and complications for the past two years, but his condition had only been serious the past week.
Mr. Black spent his entire life in Carroll County and Clinton County, Indiana. He was born in Carroll County, November 4, 1852, the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Black. He lived in Frankfort, Indiana for the past nine years.
Besides his wife, Nancy, he is survived by five children Jesse T.; Maurice M.; Ova A.; Mrs. Cloe Burford and Mrs. Harry McAninch.
He was a member of the Methodist Church at Mt. Olive. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon from the residence at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made at Kilmore.
