John F. Schlotthauer passed away about 6 o'clock last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Christ Kludt, 323 Louie avenue, following a long illness. He was born in Russia and was 61 years of age.
Mr. Schlotthauer came to the Victor district from Burstall, Canada in 1924 and had been making his home there since. He was a member of Salem Evangelical church of Lodi.
The deceased was the husband of Mrs. Carrie Schlotthauer, Victor; father of Mrs. Mary Wittig, Mrs. Martha Schick and Mrs.
Esther Wittig, Burstall, Canada; Mrs. Annie Kludt and Mrs. Lydia Fillhardt, Lodi; Miss Alma Schlotthauer, Jacob, John and George Schlotthauer, all of Victor; brother of Harry Schlotthauer, Hitchock, Oklahoma; Adam Schlotthauer, Hamburg, Iowa; Mrs. Lydia Blohm, Skapoose, Oregon; Dave Schlotthauer, Compton, California.
