Funeral services for Clarence Lee, 82, were held on Tuesday afternoon from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. E. F. Rhoades, of the United Brethren church officiated with burial in Highland cemetery.
Mr. Lee was born on January 19, 1871 near Jackson, and was a resident of Beaverton township for 16 years. He died Saturday, February 21, following two years illness. His wife and one son preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Cecil, of Jackson and Roland, of Beaverton; 5 brothers and one sister; also ten grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Curt Brubaker, David Schwartz, Harland Bard, Louis Slater, Elton Geiger and Ned Calhoun. Gladwin County Record dated 2-25/1953
