Jay W. Gunter
Jay W. Gunter, 58, Rt 7, died Sunday at Methodist Hospital, Gary.
A resident of the area for 21 years, he was employed at Gary Works of US Steel and was a member of local 1014 CIO.
Survivors are the widow, Opal, three daughters, Mrs. Sandra Flynn of Arkansas, Gail at home and Mrs. Pamela Dumis of East Gary and two sons, Randall of Glen Park and Lanny at home. two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Sisco of Portage and Mrs. Lola Smith of Missouri, two brothers, Henry of Missouri and John of Arkansas and three grandhildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 11 am at Portage United Pentecostal church with the Rev. Robert Henson officiating and burial will be in McCool cemetery in Portage.
Friends may call at the Olson and Frum funeral Chapel.
