He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Marilynn Bryant; and one sister, Sheila Burns.
He worked as a laborer on horse farms, and attended Living Word Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn, of the home; one son, Tom Heimbeaugh and his wife, Heather, of Camdenton; one daughter, Connie Charlton and her husband, Rob, of Gravois Mills; granddaughters Megan Heimbeaugh and Hannah Charlton; two brothers, Charles Burns and his wife, Carol, and Randy Burns and his wife, Chaz, all of Lebanon; a sister, Donna Duncan and her husband, Kenneth, of Lebanon; several nieces and nephews.
Services for Orville Burns will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, in the Allee-Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Camdenton. Burial will be in the Allee Memorial Gardens in Camdenton.
A memorial scholarship fund for his granddaughters has been established.
