"DENISE JANE (BYRD) DANCY
July 19, 1953-March 5, 2104, passed away after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer. She enjoyed crafts and ceramics, but most of all, being area captain for T.O.P.S., where she made numerous great friends. Denise also volunteered for the Cancer Society and took part in many walks and activities.
She is preceded in death by her father, Dennis Byrd and brother, Paul Byrd. Denise is survived by her loving husband, Gary; parents, Kenneth and Kay Grimm; sister, Lisa Jones; brother, Dennis (Melanie) Byrd; mother-in-law, Lois Skirvin; children, Jamie (Glen) Anderson, April (Larry) Adler, Diana (Nick) Calhoun, Dan Gauze, Derrik Dancy, and Matt (Tonya) Hollowell; 24 grand-children and one great grand-daughter, who loved their "Nana", along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was loved by everyone and will be missed by all.
There will be no services at this time and a memorial will be set at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Aultman Compassionate Care Center or Aultman Hospice. Ohio Cremation and Professional Services (330-438-1745) Mark R Vrabel Funeral Home."
