Mr. Joseph David "J.D." Kincaid, 64, master electrician and resident of 2nd Avenue, died Tuesday, October 31, 2006, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Friday at Hardison Cemetery on Joe Brown Road with Chaplain Alan Corry officiating. Military honors will be provided by Herbert Griffin American Legion Post 19. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 4 - 8 p.m. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home. The Maury County native was the son of Elizabeth McNeely Kincaid West of Columbia and the late Joe Allen Kincaid. He was a graduate of Spring Hill High School. Mr. Kincaid served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Spring Hill Masonic Lodge.

Survivors in addition to his mother include three daughters, Joni Kincaid of College Station, Texas, Teresa Michelle "Missy" (Tim Baier) Kincaid of Austin, Texas, Cynthia Cheryl (David Wayne) Andrews of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Edra (Charles) Clymore and Lillie "Deanie" Black both of Columbia; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Amber, Clinton, Crystal, Diana; and four great-grandchildren, Veronica, Sydney, Kenneth and Jordan.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
