A lifetime Hutchinson resident, he was employed by Farmland Industries Steel Production Plant in customer service before becoming the business administrator for the Dental Center, later becoming the business administrator for Dr. Trimmel Orthodontics in 1999.
He belonged to Mid States Car Club and Die Cast Collectors Club.
He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Cathy; and an uncle, Rodney Paine.
