She was born February 20, 1943 in Butte, Montana, a daughter of Franklin and Rachael Marie Davis Pintar. She attended Salt Lake Community College and got an Associate Degree in Accounting.
She married Jerry Shipp and they were later divorced.
Donna was an avid gamer. She enjoyed video games, and was the proud owner of nearly every gaming system around.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Jerry Shipp of Salina; children: Marion Shipp and Jerry Shipp, both of Salina; Tina Shipp of Aurora and Franklin Richard Shipp of Mississippi; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a brother, Anthony Pintar of San Diego, California.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Pintar; her mother, Rachel Marie Barthol; her step-father, Claude Barthol; a sister, Betty Jo Lind; and a grandson, Ray Lee Shipp.
Grave side services will be held Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. in the Salina Pioneer Cemetery under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
