US Congressman. Elected to represent Ohio's 12th District in the United States House of Representatives, he served frm 1913 until his death in 1921. He also served as a Member of the Ohio State House of Representatives in 1889, and from 1900 to 1904, and as an Alternate Delegate to the Democratic National Convention from Ohio in 1900.
