Doyle R. White, 75, of Big Spring, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at Scenic Mountain Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Myers & Smith Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Mount Olive Memorial Park with Pastor Kevin Knudson, of Life Church, officiating.
He was born March 18, 1939 in Stanton, Texas to Clara (Cubal) and Lewis B. White. Doyle had been a resident of Big Spring for most of his life. He retired from the City of Big Spring. He married Reba Thomas. She preceded him in death. He later married Ramona Lawson she also preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son: Rick White of Big Spring; one step-daughter: Julie Torres and husband Michael of Brady; daughter-in-law: Rebecca Dominguez of Big Spring; mother-in-law: Bea Mansfield of Big Spring; five grandchildren: Ricky J. White, Eddie J. White and Reba Cae White, all of Big Spring; Cameron Lawson and Alyssa Richter both of Brady; one brother: Bobby White; two sisters: Juanita White and Ola Mae Hail both of Big Spring.
