He is survived by his wife: Danna Pemberton of Woodbury; 2 Children: Emily & Matthew Pemberton of Woodbury; Mom: Eva L. Pemberton of Woodbury; Siblings: Jack Pemberton of Murfreesboro and Karen (Randy) Melton of Bradyville; Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Wayne & Katie Prater of Woodbury; Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law: Todd & Vickie Prater, Tracy & Clay Bell all of Woodbury. Several Nephews and Nieces also survive
He was preceded in death by his son, Justin Pemberton and his mother-in-law, Janet Prater.
A member of the Woodbury Church of Christ, he was a truck driver, a farmer and a horse trainer. He was also a member of the TN Muleskinners Association and the JP Arena Memorial Association.
Mike was a loving husband, wonderful father, cowboy and had many friends. If you needed something, Mike wouldn't just give it to you he would give you a way to earn it. No matter the task, big or small he would always get it done.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel of Woodbury Funeral Home at 1:00 pm Thurs. 03/27/14 with Bro. Herb Alsup officiating. Interment will follow in the McMahan Cemetery
Visitation with the family will be from 2 pm – 8 pm Wed., 3/26/14 and Thursday from 10 am until time of service
