Mrs. George (Agnes) Fameree, 69, of 1632 Lilac Dr., Manitowoc, died early
Wednesday morning, Dec. 5, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Arno J. Wolfgramm will officiate and burial will be
in Forest view Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Fameree, nee Agnes Barrette, was born July 7, 1910, in Kewaunee County,
daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Graves Barrette. She grew up and was
educated in Kewaunee County, where she was married to George J. Fameree. They
moved to Manitowoc County in 1947, where she farmed with her husband, moving
to Manitowoc in 1957. Mrs. Fameree had been employed with Aluminum Specialty
Company from 1957 to 1971. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church.
Survivors include her husband, George, a son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and
Noretta Fameree of Route 4, Manitowoc, two granddaughters, Vicki and Kim and
nieces and nephews. A brother and four sisters preceded her her (sic) in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Thursday and at the church from noon Friday until the time of service. Memorials
may be made to First German Evangelical Lutheran Church.
