On the 20th inst. Lewis Rhodes, of West Indiana, formerly of Rayne township, received a telegram from Fort Collins, Colorado, to the effect that his son, Christopher Rhodes, aged 23 years, had died at that place, suddenly, of pneumonia. The remains of the young man were brought here at noon yesterday, accompanied by Wm. Robinson who went west with deceased some six years ago. The interment took place in Oakland cemetery yesterday afternoon. Deceased had been engaged in wheat raising and harvested over 1000 bushels last season.

The remains of Christopher B. Rhodes, son of Lewis Rhodes, of West Indiana, arrived here on Tuesday last. Deceased died at Fort Collins, Colorado, on Jan. 21st, of inflammation of the lungs. He was twenty-seven years of age.
