Actor. Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, he began his career as a stage actor in Broadway plays and was known as E.K. Lincoln. In 1912, he embarked on a screen career with the pioneer Vitagraph Company and relocated the Los Angels. He was best known for his role as safecracker Jimmy Dale in the Mutual silent film serial "Jimmy Dale Alias the Grey Seal" (1917). His other credits included "The Woman God Changed" (1921), "The Light in the Dark" (1922), "Man of Courage" (1922) and "My Neighbor's Wife" (1925). After a brief stint in directing, he retired from the cinema.
