Clarence A. Williamson, 87, of South Jacksonville passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Heritage Health in Jacksonville. He was born March 12, 1927 in Scott County the son of Clarence Henry and Zelma Coats Williamson.

He is survived by several cousins and close friends including, Earl and Brenda Clanton of Alsey.

Mr. Williamson had worked at Walton's in Jacksonville and retired from Bound to Stay Bound in Jacksonville after 32 years of service. He served in the United States Army in Japan. He enjoyed JHS Basketball and visiting with his friends at Hardees and Dairy Queen and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Williamson Funeral Home with burial at Glasgow Cemetery. The family will meet friends from 10-11 on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Heritage Health. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
