Mrs. Saundra L. Alldaffer, age 73, of Sellersburg, IN, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, March 31, 2014. Sister Alldaffer was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Charlestown Ward of the New Albany, IN Stake. She served in many positions of responsibility in her Father's Kingdom, including service as the Primary President, Chorister and Teacher, Temple Worker in the Louisville Temple, Sunday School Teacher, Relief Society Counselor and she served an 18 month mission in Scottsburg.
Among those who preceded her in death include her parents, Frederick and Juanita Yingling.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 43 years, Gerald L. Alldaffer, who she was sealed to on May 2, 1975 in the Washington DC Temple; children, Derek Alldaffer (Francesca), Deren Alldaffer (Kelly), Deven Alldaffer (Elizabeth), Tiffany Robertson and Drake Alldaffer (Alinne); 14 grandchildren; siblings, Kay Isaacs, Frederick Yingling Jr., Sherry Yingling, Tom Yingling and Jerry Yingling and a host of other family and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Friday, April 4, 2014 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints New Albany Chapel (1534 Slate Run Rd., New Albany) with interment in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Radcliff, KY). Friends may pay their respects on Thursday from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the New Albany Chapel.
