BRENDA JANE ANGEL DAWSON, age 68, Cynthiana, died Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at her daughter's home. Born in Cynthiana, Kentucky, on May 22, 1945, to the late George and Alice Burgess Angel, she was a former administrative clerk at Harrison Memorial Hospital and pharmacy technician for Rite-Aid and a member of Mt. Hope United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by: five brothers, James Ralph Angel, George "Ray" Angel, Jackie Ray Angel, Bobby Douglas Angel and Billy Angel. She is survived by: a grandchild, Barrett Philpot; a daughter, Annette (Chris) Philpot, Harrison County; two nieces, Debbie Taylor and Diana Angel; and a nephew, David Angel; and numerous close friends she considered family.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Ware Funeral Home by Bro. Benny Northcutt, Pastor Roger Crouse and Bro. Larry Jones, with visitation at noon. Burial will be in Stringtown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 1317 U.S. Highway 62 E, Cynthiana, Kentucky 41031. Pallbearers will be Chris Philpot, Kenny Philpot, Jeff Northcutt, Ray Philpot, David Duff and Steve Moses.
