Funeral services for Mrs. Mathilda Roehe, aged 76, a resident of Beasley for the past 44 years, will be held at the Hope Lutheran Church Sunday, May 3, with Rev. Walter Koenig officiating.
Mrs. Roehe was born on January 2, 1892 in Brenham. She was the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. William Schwettmann. In January 1912, she married William Roehe who died in 1956. Mrs. Roehe passed away at the Schumann Hospital in East Bernard following a short illness.
She is survived by three sons, Raymond of Beasley, William of Edna, and Valley of Rosenberg; one daughter, Mrs. Lenora Shaver of Gonzales; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The burial took place in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, with the Triska Funeral Home directing.
