Mrs. Mary Jane Hanson, 60, of Sandy, died in a local hospital Tuesday at 7:25 p.m. following a lingering illness.
Mrs. Hanson was born in South Cottonwood October 21, 1874, and had made her home there for 23 years. For the past year she had resided at Sandy. She was a member of the L. D. S. church.
Surviving are her husband, Hans C. Hanson; four daughters, Mrs. Leonora Randall, Grant, Idaho; Mrs. Hazel L. Godfrey, Draper; Mrs. Nettie Tapp, Midvale; Mrs. Florence Jex, South Cottonwood; 12 grandchildren, four brothers, Albert Wilkins, Hunter; Jessie Wilkins, South Cottonwood; Reuben and Andrew Wilkins, Ucon, Idaho, and thress sisters, Mrs. Harriet Severson, Midvale; Mrs. Nettie Randall, Grant, Idaho and Mrs. Annie Sherwood, Washginton, D.C.
