John Franklin Treat, 87, of Sutter died Aug. 26, 2002, at The Fountains in Yuba City. Born in Watts, Ark., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident since 1943. He was a heavy equipment operator for the California Department of Water Resources. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Argie Treat of Sutter; two daughters, three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jean Treat.
Services: A graveside service is scheduled at 2 p.m. Friday at Sutter Cemetery.
