She was born Nov. 16, 1939, in Stillwell, Okla., to Thomas Jefferson and Eller Elizabeth Armour Key.
She married on Dec. 1, 1956.
She was employed in food service for many years. She was a member of the Liberty Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Anderson; and three brothers, Arthur Key, Milford Key and Don Key.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Randy Anderson and his wife, Jennifer, of Strafford; three daughters, Phyllis Shockley and her husband, Tom, of Niangua, Trudy McNeely and her husband, Lawrence, of Dickson, Tenn., and Sunni Wooten and her husband, Mike, of Kansas City, Mo.; three brothers, Lonnie Key and his wife, Laura, Roger Key and his wife, Donna, and L.D. Key, all of Van Buren, Ark.; a sister, Lois Pauler and her husband, Charles, of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren, Scott, Conner and Bailey Anderson, Kayla Countryman, Matthew Gonzalez, Chelsea Maddex, Levi Schroeder and Zak Wooten; three great-grandchildren, Jordyn Gillespie, Aubrey Maddex and Kenzie Countryman; a great-granddaughter due in September, Adelynn Gonzalez; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Doris Aletta Anderson will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, at Shadel’s Colonial Chapel in Lebanon with Dan Talbott officiating. Burial will be in Tuscumbia Cemetery, under the direction of Shadel’s Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation is scheduled for noon until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.
