Mrs. Waller S. Simpson
Attended Yonkers Schools Mrs. Naomi Simpson, widow of Waller S. Simpson died yesterday at her home, 156 Van Cortlandt Park Avenue. A native of Yonkers, she would have been fifty-three years old Saturday.
She was the daughter of Mrs. Wilson D. Youmans of Yonkers and the late Mr. Youmans. She was a graduate of Yonkers High School.
Mrs. Simpson worked for several years in Washington, D.C. as a stenographer with the Department of the Interior.
In 1924 she was married in San Antonio, Texas, to Waller S. Simpson, who died last July. They lived in Tampico, Mexico, for several years, while Mr. Simpson, an employee of the Socony Vacuum Oil Company, was stationed there.
Other survivors are a daughter. Miss Florence St. Clair Simpson of the home address, five brothers, Wilson, Edgar and James Youmans of Yonkers, Richard Youmans of Stamford, Conn., and Robert Youmans of Silver Springs, Md., and three sisters, Miss Marion Youmans of Yonkers, Mrs. Emma McCoy of the Dutch East Indies and Mrs. Anna Burns of Key West, Fla.
