She was born July 19, 1919, in Crestline, to the late John and Eva Hazel (Kurry) Hadamuscin. On Sept. 2, 1938, she was married to Charles Edward Brown, who preceded her in death after 55 years of marriage. She was also preceded in death by a son, Avery Brown; and sisters, Florence McEachern, Frances Jackson and Minerva Welch.
Etta loved fishing, mushroom hunting, berry picking, traveling and her grandkids.
She is survived by her daughters, Priscilla Arnholt and Sylvia Hambleon; sons, Jerry (Alice) Brown, Carles (Bev) Brown, Nilo (Jane) Brown and Evan (Carolyn) Brown; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and great-great grandchildren; and brother, John Hadamuscin.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, at 11:30 a.m., in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Pastor Don Hosier will officiate.
Visitation will be held Saturday morning, from 10-11 a.m., at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville.
