Alice A. Schaffer, 94, of Macungie formerly of Northampton, PA, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospice-Inpatient Unit in Allentown, PA. Born in Allen Twsp.,-Weaversville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. & Mary E. (Laubach) Lawfer. She was the wife of the late Truman Schaffer who died in 2006. She was employed by the former AT&T as an inspector for many years before retiring. Alice was a member of St. John's U.C.C. church, Howertown, PA. and a former member of the Northampton Senior Ladies Club; She delivered Meals On Wheels for Northampton County; she enjoyed pinochle, quilting, knitting, and baking. Surviving are a son, Larry T. Schaffer & wife Brenda of Bath, PA, daughters, Faye L. wife of Patrick Dunning of Allentown, PA and Suzanne L. wife of Peter Anthony of Breinigsville, PA; eight grandchildren: Kim, Todd, Tim, Amy, Brett, Jill, Adam, Brian; six great-grandchildren: Sarah, Benjamin, Gabriel, Shiloh, Lilly, Gabriella.
