Euva Lee Carden McGinnis passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living in Richmond.
She was born on September 28, 1920 to the late James and Emma Carden of Parrot, Virginia. She was one of seven siblings, all deceased. Euva Lee was the wife of the late Eugene McGinnis. Employed as a Public Health Nurse in her professional life, she was dedicated to the care, health and well-being of others, especially her children.

She was a committed Christian, read her Bible daily and was a long-time member of the Williamson Church of Christ and later the Westside Christian Church in Richmond.


She is survived by her three daughters, Sandra Cerny and husband Wayne, Sharon Cooksey and husband Curtis and Barbara McGinnis, all of Richmond, and her son, Randy McGinnis and wife Joan of Oakton, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Funeral Services at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Elder Goble officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery
