Kimberly lost her battle to cancer surrounded by family and friends at her bedside.
A memorial service was held at Myrtle Grove United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Steve Rascoe. Kim is survived by her husband, Mickey Bennett, daughters Brooke and Brinlee, mother Mary Stearns, Father Walter Solchenberger (Gwen), brothers James Solchenberger (Jennifer), Jason Solchenberger (Amy), sister Ticia Wiggins, and numerous loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Special thanks to Martha Watson, life long friend who gave round the clock care to Kim at home and in the hospital, Covenant Hospice, truly an angel in time of need; also to West Florida Hospital and Cancer Center, Kim, Dawn, Brie, Barbara, Natalie and Jeannie and for all their compassionate and loving care.
