Janet Leora Lynn, age 80, of Belfair, Washington, passed away on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 in San Angelo, Texas.

She was born on April 7, 1931 in Shelbyville, Indiana to Earl Norton Skinner and Toylie D. (Snyder) Skinner. She married Morris Lynn on March 14, 1966.

She served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. She had lived in Belfair for over 10 years, moving there from Bremerton Washington. She was a Christian.

Funeral Services for Janet Leora Lynn will be at 6:00pm Tuesday evening at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady with Reverend Alan Delafield officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, prior to services, from 5 to 6pm. Interment will be at the Twin Firs Cemetery in Belfair, Washington.

Mrs. Lynn is survived by her husband Morris Lynn of Belfair, Washington, son Larry Bruce of Belfair, Washington, daughters Rebecca Shelton and husband Mark of Walnut Creek, California, Elizabeth Bruce of Bottineau, North Dakota, Barbara Copenhaver and husband Ralph of Brady, Texas, nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Robert Thomas Bruce. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
