She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William C. Mehlberg; her grandmother, Ellen Ross of Burbank; and her sister, Patricia also of Burbank.

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS KILL 2 PERSONS
"The other death was that of Katherine Mehlberg, 23, of Burbank. She was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center. Burbank police have booked Howard Finley, 39, of Saugus, on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter. Police said Finley allegedly ran a red light at Rose Street and Burbank Boulevard and struck Miss Mehlberg's car. Burbank firemen removed her from the vehicle and she was rushed to the hospital.

ARREST DRIVER IN AUTO DEATH OF BURBANK WOMAN
A Burbank woman was killed in an auto collision at the corner of Whitnall Highway and Burbank Boulvard in Burbank, police reported. She was Katherine Irene Mehlberg, 23, of 2101 N. Evergreen Street, who was pronounced dead Monday at 8:45 p.m. at St. Joseph Hospital. She was driving her auto. Driver of the other car, Howard E. Finley, 38, of Saugus, was arrested on charges of felony manslaughter and felony drunk driving, officers said.
