She was born Susan Lynn Brown, June 22, 1961 in Wilkes County to Ruby Mathis Brown and George Clayton Brown. She was a loving mother and sister, best friend and mother to many.
Susan is survived by son, Joseph Hart of Huntersville; sister, Georgia Heidel of Long Beach, Calif.; and many family and friends.
Susan had a zest for life, a love for animals, and a unique ability to enjoy life and love of being surrounded by friends.
A graveside service will be held at Mountlawn Memorial Park in North Wilkesboro on Wednesday, April 2 at 1 p.m.
A celebration of life will be held immediately following at the home of Denise Monahan.
In Susan's words, "The best is yet to come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I am resting in peace."
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth County Humane Society or the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
